Goal Updates

Chase Utley, a 2B for the Philadelphia Phillies has not played at all this spring and will likely start the season on the DL. It has been reported that he left Clearwater to get both of his knees checked out. If this is something major, Chase Utley may never be the same star as he was in the passed. Beat up knees will hurt him when fielding ground balls, and that is if he returns to the Phils. Thankfully, the Phillies have the easiest schedule for the first 30 games based on last year's stats, and hopefully Chase will be back and ready to go by then.

Goal Updates

The one-time great Tiger Woods withdrew from the PGA event on Saturday. He has withdrawn 5 times in his career, all in the last 5 years with the latest 3 in a 2 year span. During that 2 year span, both his Achilles Tendons as well as his right knee which he arthroscopic surgery on multiple years ago. The first time he strained his Achilles, Tiger came back too soon and he says he may have made the extent of the injury worse. With that in mind, things do not look good for the Masters in a few weeks. Because Tiger likes to keep things to himself, no timetable is given for his return, but with three parts in his lower body bothering him, Tiger may never win another championship.

Goal Updates

In the Texas vs Kansas men's college basketball game on Saturday night broadcasted by CBS, Texas whiteman Clint Chapman attempted to take a charging foul against the driving Jayhawk. He fell back to embellish the call but was called for a blocking foul. When falling back, his head went into the knee of an unbalanced teammate and undercut him. He feel awkwardly and broke his arm because of the "hustle" play by whiteman Chapman. Season's probably over for him.

Goal Updates

In the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night, Kobe Bryant drove baseline and was about to dunk it. Then, Dwyane Wade smacked him upon his nose. Kobe stopped dead in his tracks. His nose was bleeding, but after cleaning up the blood, he continued to play. After the game, it became known that Kobe suffered a broken nasal bone as well as a mild concussion. As of now, he is cleared to play in his game tonight.

Goal Updates

Dwyane Wade, a guard for the Miami Heat, has been suffering on and off ankle pains. Early in the season, he sprained his ankle and it has been bothering throughout the entire season. Because of this and the shortened season, he has missed a lot of games to rest his ankle. I have sprained my ankle and I have first-hand experience on how these injuries linger.
